Judi Selot Berdampak ke Kesehatan Mental, DPRD Kaltim Tegas Ingatkan Warga Waspada

Bahkan berdasarkan data PPATK sepanjang 2017 – 2022 total perputaran uangnya mencapai Rp190 triliun.
Wakil Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Kaltim, Puji Setyowati mengaku prihatin terhadap kondisi tersebut dan berharap para pengguna judi online sadar akan dampak bahaya yang ditumbuhkan dari kecanduan judi online.
“Sudah banyak kasus akibat kecanduan judi online sangat mempengaruhi mental dan psikis seseorang. Dampak depresi dan stres kalau sering kalah main sudah pasti, belum kalau modal habis harus cari banyak cara agar dapat modal,” kata Puji.
Padahal, tidak ada pecandu judi online yang benar-benar mendapatkan hasil yang menjanjikan sehingga membuat hidupnya sejahtera. Justru sebaliknya, faktanya justru membuat mereka banyak kehilangan uang.
“Kalau sudah sekali menang pasti mau main lagi dan lagi. Modalpun bisa dilipatgandakan tanpa mau berfikir panjang. Tanpa disadari kalau permainan judi online yang merupakan program yang dibuat dan telah diatur sedemikian rupa dimuat untuk memanipulasi emosial seseorang demi meraup keuntungan pribadi sebesar-besarnya,” jelasnya.
Kendati pemerintah telah banyak memblokir situs jejaring judi online akan tetapi masih banyak pula yang baru dan masih berjalan. Pangsa pasar yang besar di indonesia dan mental jalan pintas mencari uang adalah alasan kenapa judi online susuah diberantas.
Oleh sebab itu pihaknya meminta pendidikan dan tokoh agama beserta orangtua untuk saling bersinergi dalam memberikan pemahaman dan pengawasan secara terus menerus agar tidak menjadi korban judi online. (adv)
