Keterangan salah satu warga, api tersebut berasal dari sebuah mobil avanza punya pemilik warung yang tengah menyalurkan bahan bakar minyak (BBM) ke mesin dispenser.

Saat sedang melakukan pengisian tersebut, tiba-tiba api secara cepat langsung menyambar dispenser pom pertamini tersebut.

“Jadi yang terbakar itu ada warung kelontong, sama konter hp yang ada disebelahnya,” ujarnya.

Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran (Damkar) Samarinda, ITS-TRC, beserta unsur relawan lainnya langsung bergegas ke TKP kebakaran. Dengan mengerahkan 6 unit Fire Truk dan 10 mesin portable relawan.

Hasil dari kejadian tersebut, Kabid Pemadam Kebakaran dan Penyelamatan Kota Samarinda Teguh Setya Wardana menerangkan, 1 tempat usaha 3 pintu, 1 unit mobil dan 2 unit motor ludes terbakar.

“Untuk penyebabnya kebakaran sendiri disebabkan adanya aktivitas pengetapan BBM,” sebutnya.

Kebakaran tersebut tidak menyebabkan korban jiwa. Namun, ada 1 warga mengalami luka ringan.

Teguh menyatakan, kejadian ini akan ditelusuri lebih lanjut oleh kepolisian mengenai penyebab pastinya. (*)
