Pemkot Samarinda Gencar Bangun Infrastruktur, DPRD Ingatkan Pembangunan SDM Sama Pentingnya

Seputar Nusantara – Saat ini Pemkot Samarinda tengah gencar membangun infrastruktur.

Hal ini pun mendapat apresiasi dari DPRD Samarinda.

Meski begitu, Anggota Komisi IV DPRD Samarinda, Damayanti, mengingatkan agar pemerintah dapat menyeimbangkan antara pembangunan infrastruktur dengan peningkatan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di Kota Tepian.

“Kalau infrastruktur sekarang luar biasa bersama Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), tapi ini harus berimbang antara SDM dan infrastruktur,” kata Damayanti, Kamis (21/9/2023).

Politikus Partai Kebangkitan Pembangungan (PKB) itu menyebut keseimbangan antara pembangunan infrastruktur dan peningkatan SDM sangat penting dilakukan demi kemajuan suatu daerah.

Terlebih, Wali Kota Samarinda Andi Harun menegaskan peningkatan SDM akan digenjot pada 2024 mendatang. “Visi misi Pak Wali Kota menuju pusat peradaban, artinya harus ada percepatan dalam pembangunan infrastruktur maupun SDM,” tuturnya.

Tak lupa, Damayanti juga mengajak seluruk stakeholder terkait bersama-sama aktif berperan mengentaskan angka stunting di Kota Samarinda.

Sebab, lanjut dia, jika suatu daerah ingin lebih maju. maka SDMnya juga harus berkualitas.

“Pembangunannya bagus tapi kalau stuntingnya tinggi kan jomplang jadinya. Harus proposional antara SDM dengan infrastrukturnya karena stunting ini berkaitan dengan SDM,” tegasnya. (adv)
