Jelang Ramadan, DPRD Adakan Sidak Meninjau Ketersediaan Bahan Pangan Pokok
Kabar naiknya harga bahan pokok menjadi hal yang lumrah jelang bulan ramadan hingga lebaran. Hal ini pula yang menjadi sorotan DPRD Samarinda dalam sidak yang dilakukan beberapa waktu lalu.
Novi Marinda Putri, Sekretaris Komisi II DPRD Samarinda menyebut inspeksi mendadak merupakan kegiatan kolaborasi antara Dinas Perdagangan dan Wakil Walikota Samarinda dengan mendatangi sejumlah kios.
Novi mengaku ketersediaan stok bahan pokok cukup memenuhi kebutuhan warga Samarinda hingga lebaran.
“Alhamdulillah mayoritas seluruh kebutuhan bahan pokok aman sampai lebaran,” Novi mengutarakan.
Terdapat beberapa bahan pokok yang Novi jelaskan diantaranya minyak goreng dan daging sapi. Menurutnya, beberapa agen besar masih memiliki stok minyak goreng yang cukup.
“Bahkan beberapa retail besar sudah memperlihatkan stok mereka. Termasuk ketersediaan gula dan insyaallah sampai lebaran stoknya bakal tersedia,” ucapnya.
Terkait daging sapi, kendati stoknya melimpah, pemerintah belum menetapkan harga. Inilah yang mengakibatkan harganya dapat dipermainkan penjual.
“Pada saat permintaan berlebih, mereka pasti menaikkan harganya. Kan yang kasihan masyarakatnya,” tambahnya.
Terakhir, dirinya mengutarakan rencananya dalam waktu dekat untuk berkoordinasi dengan Dinas Perdagangan dalam mengawasi penjual daging di pasaran.
