Angka Stunting di Samarinda Masih 25,3 Persen, DPRD Samarinda Dorong Pemkot Maksimalkan Program

Seputar Nusantara – Komisi IV DPRD Samarinda menggelar RDP bersama DP2KB Samarinda, membahas penanganan kasus stunting di Kota Tepian.

Dalam pemaparannya, Deni Hakim Anwar, Sekretaris Komisi IV DPRD Samarinda, menyebut angka stunting di Samarinda saat ini mencapai 25,3 persen.

Sementara Pemkot Samarinda menarget hingga akhir tahun 2023 adalah menurunkan angka tersebut ke 20 persen.

Sedangkan target akhir tahun 2024 adalah menurunkan angka stunting menjadi 11 persen.

“Dua hal ini harus berjalan seiring dan tidak terpisah. Langkah pencegahan yang dilakukan pun harus dilakukan sejak dini,” kata Deni, Jumat (10/11/2023).

Ia menegaskan kepada lintas Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD) yang terkait, baik Dinas Kesehatan Kota Samarinda, DP2KB, dan Kemenag Kota Samarinda, agar bersinergi dalam melakukan pendampingan calon pengantin, pernikahan, hamil, hingga melahirkan.

“Semua tahapan harus dijaga dengan maksimal, terutama di masa 1.000 hari pertama pengasuhan,” jelasnya.

Deni menyoroti kendala yang dihadapi dalam penanganan stunting, salah satunya adalah anggaran yang kecil untuk para kader pendamping di lapangan.

“Masih banyak kader yang bekerja dengan ikhlas dan tanpa pamrih. Ini harus menjadi perhatian Pemkot Samarinda,” tegasnya.

Dirinya berharap Pemkot Samarinda dapat memprioritaskan anggaran untuk penanganan stunting di tahun 2024 mendatang.

“Pemkot harus memberikan perhatian khusus kepada para kader pendamping,” pungkasnya. (adv)
