Sri Puji Astuti Minta Pemkot Samarinda Agar Lapangan Pekerjaan Untuk Disabilitas Satu Persen Terpenuhi
Seputar Nusantara – Sri Puji Astuti, Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Samarinda, menyinggung terkait ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan untuk para disabilitas.
Puji meminta Pemkot Samarinda turut serta memastikan kehadiran lapangan pekerjaan untuk disabilitas untuk terimplementasi dengan baik.
“Sudah dipayuingi dalam undang-undang bahwa setiap perusahaan harus menyiapkan setidaknya 1 persen untuk disabilitas,” kata Sri Puji Astuti, Sabtu (23/9/2023).
Namun masih banyak disabilitas yang belum mendapat akses ke perguruan tinggi.
Sehingga setelah sekolah harus mengejar pelatihan keterampilan. Padahal seharusnya mereka punya hak yang sama untuk pendidikan maupun pekerjaan.
“Data disabilitas yang siap bekerja kita juga masih kurang,” tegasnya.
“Kampus juga perlu mulai inklusif untuk akses pendidikan dan memudahkan akses pekerjaan,” pungkasnya. (adv)
