Sri Puji Astuti Soroti Minimnya Partisipasi Agenda Job Fair Akomodir Peluang Kerja Bagi Penyandang Disabilitas
Seputar Nusantara – DPRD Samarinda menyayangkan penyandang disabilitas menghadapi kesulitan dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan.
Sri Puji Astuti, Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Samarinda, menyoroti minimnya penyerapan tenaga kerja untuk kelompok ini, baik melalui kegiatan job fair maupun bursa kerja.
“Mereka juga berhak mendapatkan akses yang sama dengan orang lain dalam dunia kerja,” kata Puji, Sabtu (4/11/2023).
Puji mengatakan Pemerintah Kota Samarinda harus memberikan perhatian khusus terkait hal ini.
Menurutnya, para penyandang disabilitas juga membutuhkan kemudahan akses, baik dalam hal transportasi, fasilitas, maupun informasi.
Selain itu, mereka juga perlu mendapatkan pelatihan keterampilan yang sesuai dengan minat dan bakat mereka.
“Masih ada PR besar dalam mengumpulkan data disabilitas yang siap bekerja,” jelasnya.
Puji juga menyoroti masalah sosialisasi yang kurang maksimal, terutama informasi penting seperti pelatihan keterampilan, lowongan pekerjaan, maupun kegiatan job fair seringkali tidak sampai kepada masyarakat, terutama lapisan terbawah.
Ia berharap ada langkah yang lebih aktif dan efektif dari pihak terkait untuk menjaring tenaga kerja dari para penyandang disabilitas.
“Supaya disabilitas ini punya hak yang sama dalam pekerjaan, lalu sosialisasi kita terkait hal ini masih belum menyentuh sampai ke bawah,” tegasnya. (adv)
