Seputar Nusantara – DPRD Samarinda mendorong pemkot memaksimalkan pembenahan Lampu Penerangan Jalan Umum (LPJU).
Pasalnya, penerangan lampu jalan yang minim menjadi faktor meningkatnya potensi kecelakaan pengendara di jalan.
Novan Syahronny Pasie, Sekretaris Komisi III DPRD Samarinda, menyoroti masih banyak titik jalan di Samarinda yang belum memiliki penerangan.
“Masih banyak titik jalan di Samarinda yang belum memiliki penerangan, oleh sebab itu pemasangan LPJU harus menjadi prioritas,” kata Novan, Sabtu (4/11/2023).
Novan menyoroti kondisi jalan di kawasan Ring Roaf yang menurutnya masih gelap gulita.
Meski begitu, Novan juga mempertimbangkan soal ketersediaan anggaran dalam pelaksanaannya.
Ia memberikan dukungan kepada Dishub Samarinda yang bertanggung jawab atas urusan tersebut.
“Kawasan Ringroad membutuhkan ratusan titik LPJU untuk menerangi jalanan, dengan masih ada 3000 titik yang belum tercakup,” jelasnya.
Novan menekankan tanggung jawab pemerintah sebagai penyedia penerangan harus diprioritaskan di jalur protokol.
Sedangkan untuk kawasan permukiman, diakuinya sudah cukup tertutupi.
“Dishub Samarinda dapat memaksimalkan pengadaan dan pemasangan LPJU, terlebih dengan adanya alokasi anggaran yang telah disiapkan,” tegasnya. (adv)
