Masih banyak kaum pria yang salah memahami perannya dalam rumah tangga. Ada yang masih berpikir, tugas mereka hanya mencari nafkah. Sementara semua pekerjaan rumah, merupakan tugas istri.

Pemikiran ini tak lepas dari stigma lama. Soal wanita harus mengerjakan semua pekerjaan di rumah. Dari memasak, beberes rumah, cuci baju dan piring, sampai mengurus anak.

Menurut Novi, itu tidak fair. Suami dan istri harus bermitra. Urusan rumah dan anak harus dikerjakan bersama.

“Bapak-bapak sebaiknya ikut membantuk mengurus anak, karena mendidik anak pun jadi tanggung jawab ayah. Bukan hanya ibu,” tegasnya. (adv)
