Torehkan Prestasi di Porprov Berau dan Sea Games Kamboja, Subandi Angkat Topi ke Atlet Samarinda
Seputar Nusantara – Para atlet Samarinda, telah menorehkan prestasi dan mengharumkan nama Kaltim serta Indonesia.
Atlet Kota Tepian telah menorehkan berbagai medali di ajang Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (Porprov) VII Berau dan Sea Games XXXIII Kamboja.
Wakil Ketua DPRD Samarinda, Subandi mengapresiasi perjuangan para atlet daerah ini.
“Tentunya ini harus kita apresiasi, makanya Pemerintah Kota (Pemkot) Samarinda memberikan apresiasi untuk meningkatkan semangat para atlet,” ungkapnya, Sabtu (27/5/2023).
Menurutnya, apresiasi kepada para atlet yang telah berjuang dan menyumbang medali di Porprov serta Sea Games kali ini menjadi keharusan bagi pemerintah daerah maupun DPRD.
Sebab atlet-atlet tersebut telah mengharumkan nama Kota Tepian. Karenanya, pemerintah memberikan bonus sebagai bentuk apresiasi dengan besaran yang diterima perorangan yakni Rp 50 juta untuk peraih medali emas, Rp 20 juta medali perak, dan Rp 10 juta medali perunggu, baik untuk atlet Porprov maupun Sea Games.
“Agar ke depannya lebih baik lagi dan yang paling penting ini mengharumkan nama Kota Samarinda,” tutur Subandi.
Subandi berharap pemerintah terus berupaya dalam meningkatkan sarana dan prasarana (sarpras) bagi para atlet, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas atlet di Kota Tepian.
“Karena dengan sarpras yang bagus tentunya para atlet akan lebih semangat dalam menjalani latihan,” kata dia.
Ini dapat menjadi inspirasi serta motivasi bagi para atlet seluruh cabang olahraga di Kota Samarinda.
“Saya berharap agar prestasi akan terus berlanjut kedepannya, tidak hanya sampai disini saja,” pungkasnya. (Adv)
