Listrik Padam Enam Jam, DPRD Samarinda Minta PLN Ganti Kerugian Warga
Seputar Nusantara – Samarinda mengalami blackout pada Selasa (9/8/2023) lalu. Akibat kejadian itu, listrik padam selama enam jam di Kota Tepian.
Kejadian itu mendapat sorotan dari DPRD Samarinda.
Sani Bin Husein, Wakil Ketua Komisi IV DPRD Samarinda, menyampaikan pemadaman yang merata di Kalimantan Timur dan lebih dari enam jam ini dinilai merugikan banyak pihak dan banyak pekerjaan yang tertunda.
“Terlepas dari kendala atau permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan, pekerjaan-pekerjaan yang harusnya lebih cepat dan bisa diselesaikan hari ini, malah tertunda karena aliran listrik padam seharian,” kata Sani, Jumat (11/8/2023).
Apalagi dengan masa pemberitahuan yang cukup singkat, PLN harusnya bisa bertanggung jawab atas pemadaman dan kerugian yang harus ditanggung oleh pelanggan.
Sani menginginkan adanya ganti rugi dari pihak PLN karena banyaknya pelanggan yang dirugikan dan beberapa industri atau rumah produksi bisa terhambat.
“PLN harus bertanggungjawab dan memberikan ganti rugi karena pemadam ini juga berdampak pada menurunnya aliran air ke rumah-rumah, instansi-instansi atau ke beberapa rumah produksi,” jelasnya.
Dengan pemadaman listrik yang juga ditambah dengan pemadaman air, Sani mengibaratkan manusia yang sudah modern kembali ke zaman batu.
Apalagi pelanggan memiliki kewajiban membayar tiap bulan. PLN harus memberikan minimal potong biaya pembayaran atau memberikan voucher diskon pada pelanggan yang di rugikan.
“Saya di dewan maka sudah sepantasnya memperjuangkan. Kan masyarakat Samarinda juga dirugikan, maka dari itu tegas saya meminta PLN berikan pemotongan harga,” tegasnya. (adv)
